Mind, Mood and Madness – My interpretation of dance
Mind, Mood and Madness is a production depicting my interpretation of dance through a mélange of dance styles, emotions, thoughts and ecstasy.
Dance is my passion
Or is it my weakness, I wonder
I feel I exist only when I dance
When the melody of the music flows into my veins
And when that melody translates into movement
Movement is it, is it that simple….
No, its more than that I guess
It’s a gamut of emotions suppressed somewhere deep within
Expressions, words, thoughts, actions and response
Which never came out, or which I dint let to come out…
And now, it’s threatening to explode over me
And make me feel liberated…
As I move to stand far away and watch these forces take over my shadow
I know I am entering into an unknown land.
A land of freedom, bliss or euphoria maybe
Or maybe just utter Confusion.
Body and mind giving it up to the soul
I don’t know whether this is right or wrong
You follow, you decide and get confused!
Mind, Mood and Madness all coming together…
